Camp Schedule For 11-13 Year Olds
Camps Colby, DeBruce, Pack Forest and Rushford
Operating Hours
Check-in for camp is between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM on Sunday afternoon.
Camper pickup and closing ceremony is at 4:30 PM on Friday.
Camp Policies
Campers cannot stay over Friday/Saturday at camp.
Campers must be picked up by an authorized parent/guardian or representative, staff cannot place campers on public transportation.

Guest speakers might include: ECOs with K9 units, Forest rangers, local rehabilitators, or other educators and DEC staff

Sample environmental lessons:
Field lesson: collect insects with nets and discuss field habitats
Aquatics lesson: Use dip or kick nets to collect macroinvertebrates and discuss water quality
Forest lesson: Investigate tree diversity, the importance of soils, and forestry
General ecology: Habitats, human impacts, energy cycles
