Petroleum Bulk Storage Online Registration
Petroleum Bulk Storage (PBS) registration applications can be submitted using the online tool nForm Please follow these steps to access the online forms:
- Create an account at my.ny.gov. This account must be the “Personal” type. Return to this page after you create your account. If you already have a personal account, skip this step.
- Go to the online form page. If it requests you to login, enter your ny.gov account login information.
- After logging in, if it redirects you to anywhere other than the nForm webpage, simply click the above link again
- It’s highly recommended to bookmark this link for future use
- Forms will appear at the bottom of the webpage. Click the one you want
- Enter your PBS number and PIN if asked. If you’re missing either, email your regional office listed below. If you received a renewal reminder (letter or email), the PIN will be listed on it.
- Fill out the form with the required information and submit. Payments, if any, will be made payable upon submitting the form.
At this time, transfer of ownership applications must be submitted using paper forms available on our website. This application will soon be available online as well.
Prepopulated paper applications for transfers of ownership, renewals, and information corrections can be requested by contacting your regional DEC office. A list of contact addresses is below.
