The record for each site listed is composed of a series of fields that contain specific information about each site. To help the reader interpret the information provided in this on-line data base, the list below gives definitions and descriptions for the fields.

Expiration Date | Date of expiration of the registration or license |
Facility Name | Name assigned to the facility |
Facility Status | Current status of the facility (active, inactive, etc.) |
Locality | Town, city or village where the facility is located |
Site Address | Street address of the facility |
Site No | Number assigned to the facility by DEC |
Site Type | Program type - PBS: Petroleum Bulk Storage, MOSF: Major Oil Storage Facilities, CBS: Chemical Bulk Storage |
State | State where the facility is located |
Zipcode | Zip code of the facility |

Mail Contact | Name and address of contact person for mailing correspondence |

Overfill | Equipment used to provide overfill prevention for the tank |
Percentage | Percentage of additive in product (10% ethanol, etc) |
Pipe External Protection | Method of providing external protection to the piping (cathodic protection, coatings, etc.) |
Piping Leak Detection | Equipment used to provide leak detection for the piping |
Pipe Location | Location of piping (underground, aboveground, etc.) |
Pipe Secondary Containment | Equipment used to provide secondary containment for the piping |
Product Stored | Product stored in the tank |
Pipe Type | Pipe material construction |
Spill Prevention | Equipment used to provide spill prevention from deliveries (spill catch basin) |
Tank Capacity | Capacity of the tank in gallons |
Tank Closed Date | Date tank was permanently closed |
Tank External Protection | Method of providing external protection to tank (cathodic protection, coatings, etc.) |
Tank Install Date | Date tank was installed |
Tank Internal Protection | Method of providing internal protection to the tank (tank lining) |
Tank Last Test | Date of last tank test submitted and accepted by DEC |
Tank Location | Location of tank (underground, aboveground, etc.) |
Tank Leak Detection | Equipment used to provide leak detection for the tank |
Tank Next Test Due | Date that next tank test is due based on data supplied by owner |
Tank No | Identification number for the tank (assigned by owner) |
Tank Secondary Containment | Equipment used to provide secondary containment for the tank |
Tank Status | Current status of tank (active, closed, etc.) |
Tank Test Method | Method used to test the tank system last time tested |
Tank Type | Material of construction of the tank |
