   1. Enter your email and click submit;
   2. Select how often you would like to receive updates;
   3. Choose a password (optional);
   4. Click "Submit;"
   5. Confirm your email address (a conformation link will be sent to the email address you provided).

Site Cleanup and Permitting by County

You will receive contaminated sites information from only the counties you select.

1. Scroll to "Environmental Site Cleanup and Permitting Information by County"
   1. Click on the + sign in the small box next to the category to expand it to see all the counties;
   2. Check a box to select a county;
   3. Check the box again to un-select a county;
   4. Select as many counties as you want;
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes."

Hazardous Waste and Cleanup

1. Scroll to "Prevent and Control Pollution"
   1. Check the "Hazardous Waste and Cleanup" box;
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes."

Sites that are Involved

Not sure if there are any sites of interest to you? You can search DEC's environmental site remediation database by address, county, program, and type of site to find out. Make sure to note the county or counties in which your sites of interest are located, because you will sign up on these emails by county.
