On 5/19/21, NYSDEC's Pollution Prevention (P2) Unit HWRP team and The NYS Pollution Prevention Institute (NYSP2I) presented a 1-hour webinar. It provides an overview and refresher of the HWRP program and includes an update and a presentation of two case studies by NYSP2I. - Guidance on how to complete and submit a Hazardous Waste Reduction Plan (HWRP). DEC presented this 50-minute webinar on May 24, 2017 and it provides assistance on the successful development of a Hazardous Waste Reduction Plan, and the subsequent Annual Status Reports and Biennial Updates required under the HWRP program:

- Hazardous Waste Reduction Plan Fillable Form (PDF, 1.83 MB) - Please use this PDF form to complete your initial Hazardous Waste Reduction Plan. Save the form to your computer prior to filling it out. Once it's completed, email it to [email protected] .
- Annual Status Report Fillable Form (PDF, 474 KB) - Please use this PDF form when you need to complete your Annual Status Report (ASR). Save the form to your computer prior to filling it out. Once it's completed, email it to [email protected] .
- Biennial Update Fillable Form (PDF, 1.58 MB) - Please use this PDF form when you need to complete your Biennial Update (BU). Save the form to your computer prior to filling it out. Once it's completed, email it to [email protected] .
- Tables 1 and 2 - This is an excel document which you can use to submit your tables along with your HWRP or ASR or BU. Note: These tables are included as part of the fillable forms noted in items 1 - 3. You may use this document if you are submitting a HWRP, ASR or BU without using the fillable forms.
