Participate in a free beginner's fishing clinic hosted by NYSDEC at Kissena Park in Flushing, Queens County on Thursday, 6/27 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. In addition to casting a rod and catching fish, participants can learn about fish identification, fishing equipment and techniques, fisheries management, angling ethics, aquatic ecology, and more! No freshwater fishing license is required, and all equipment and bait will be provided for free during the event.
