Major changes in New York’s Freshwater Wetlands regulations took effect Jan. 1, 2025, implementing amendments to the Freshwater Wetlands Act that passed in 2022. This webinar will cover diversity and importance of wetlands with a focus on the Hudson River Estuary watershed; details of the regulations now in effect, the process for jurisdictional determinations; and how to use the new informational wetland maps. A certificate of attendance will be provided for 1.5 hours of training credit.
