Division of Mineral Resources is holding a virtual stakeholder meeting on July 29, 2025, from 1:00-3:00pm to obtain input and feedback from stakeholders on the Advanced Notice of Proposed Rule Making (ANPRM) of the draft regulations for Parts 550, 561, 563, and 569 and the Draft Scope of the Generic Environmental Impact Statement (GEIS). These regulations and associated GEIS will be for closed loop geothermal boreholes and closed loop stratigraphic test wells drilled deeper than 500 feet.
