Join the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), SUNY ESF, City of Syracuse and partners for the Onondaga Creek Watershed Community Listening Session to share your priorities and visions for Onondaga Creek. There will be discussions about the Onondaga Creek Watershed focusing on topics such as flood resilience, water quality and habitat, housing and food access, recreation and access, and governance.
The event is free and open to the public. All are welcome!
This session will bring together residents, community leaders, and DEC staff to discuss local environmental priorities, share resources, and strengthen collaborations between community partners.
The event supports DEC’s ongoing efforts to promote and enhance existing state Environmental Justice programs to better serve the community, build relationships between agencies and community members, and help prioritize future outreach efforts for public participation.
Language interpretation services shall be made available to persons with limited English proficiency, including American Sign Language, at no cost.
