In this issue: Students will learn about birds, including bird communications, where birds live, and how to observe them. They will learn about different adaptations birds have, depending on their habitats and the types of foods they eat, and will discover a variety of ways that we have birds in our lives! Students will also learn all about the different ways of observing and keeping track of birds, both at school and in their own neighborhoods, and learn about some of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) birding resources.
