When will my subscription begin?
Subscriptions ordered at least two weeks before the next issue is published will receive it during the issue’s main mailing; subscriptions ordered during the subsequent six weeks will receive the next issue during the second mailing, one month later. Subscriptions ordered after the end of the first month that an issue has been released will start with the next issue. For example, a subscription ordered prior to March 15 will receive the April/May issue when it is mailed. A subscription ordered between March 15 and April 30 will receive the April/May issue in early May. A subscription ordered after April 30 will start with the June/July issue.
How do I access my account?
If you have any questions regarding your subscription, you can check your account information here. To look up your account, you will need your account number and zip code.
During our upgrade to a new customer service system, account numbers changed with the April/May 2023 issue. Account numbers are located on the mailing label above the name. In the event of a duplicate subscription, accounts may be merged, resulting in a new account number.
How do I renew my subscription?
You can renew your subscription online, or by calling 1-800-678-6399, Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern. DEC will not retain, share, or store credit card information.
How do I receive the Digital Edition of the magazine?
If you are a current subscriber and not currently receiving the Digital Edition, send us an email with your name and account number or subscription address so we can add your email address to your account. The Digital Edition is an extra perk available to all print subscribers. You will continue to receive your print copy in the mail.

How do I change my address?
You can change your subscription address online, by emailing [email protected] or by calling 1-800-678-6399, Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern.
To change your address online:
- Log in to your account
- Click “Change” in the box with your contact information.
- A new menu will open, and you can update your address accordingly.
I’m a snowbird and split my time between two residences throughout the year. Can I have multiple addresses on my account and change where my magazine is delivered?
Yes! You can add multiple addresses to your account online and set up automatic address changes to never miss an issue!
- Log in to your account
- Click “Add Address” in the left box under your contact information.
- Add your new address.
- In the “Activate On” field, select the date that you want the address activated.
- Check the “Reactivate Every Year” box to set up annual automatic address changes.
- Click “Save”.
- Your additional address will be listed under active address with the date that it will become active. You can edit, activate, or delete your additional address by clicking the icons to the right.

How do I put a vacation hold on my account?
For immediate assistance please log in to your subscription account online
- In your issue history box, click “Hold Subscription”
- A green banner will show at the top of the page confirming the hold on your subscription
- When you return from vacation, log in to your account and click “Unhold Subscription”
