- Project Description:
The applicant proposes to repair the embankment and stabilize a trail section of the Erie Canal Trail, approximately 2,200 feet west of Thomas Rd. The proposed repair incorporates the placement of medium weight stone fill on top of Type-1 stone bedding material. The stone fill will be keyed-in at the toe of slope to prevent future slippage. A total of 38.8 cubic yards of material over 622 square feet will be placed in NYS Freshwater Wetland OR-25. A total of 705 cubic yards of fill over 8,930 square feet will be placed in the Regulated 100-foot Adjacent Area of NYS Freshwater Wetland OR-25.

Project is not subject to SEQR because it is a Type II action.

- The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The application type is exempt and/or the project involves the continuation of an existing operational activity.
- Coastal Management:
- This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
