Negative Declaration
Albany County - The Town of Bethlehem Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Community Power Group LLC Site Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a special use permit and site plan application from Community Power Group LLC (applicant) representing Frueh Bros. LLC (owner) for approval of the development of a large scale solar facility (5MW) including all fenced areas, access roadway and transformer areas. The development parcel consists of approximately 27.9 ± acres of land within a larger parcel of 56.46 acres and said land is currently zoned both Mixed Economic Development District and Rural Hamlet. The Town Board previously issued an Approval of a Mixed Economic Development District #4 Master Plan, dated May 25, 2022. The project is located at 690 Route 9W in Glenmont, Twon of Bethlehem, New York.
