Project Description:
Applicant proposes to remove and replace the existing bulkhead in a new alignment. A 45 ft angled section will be cut and replaced with a 40 ft section of straight bulkhead, up to 10 ft landward of the existing. Additionally, a 72 ft section of angled bulkhead will be replaced up to 5.5 ft seaward of the existing bulkhead. Approximately 70 CY of clean fill will be used as backfill for the new bulkhead. The realignment of the bulkhead will result in a net zero loss of tidal wetlands. The application proposes to install a 4'x6' platform, ramp, and 5'x30' floating dock, and 4 pile boatlift. The project is located at 11 Club Dr, Massapequa, Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County in the littoral zone of Grand Lagoon.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The application type is exempt and/or the project involves the continuation of an existing operational activity.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
DEC Commissioner Policy 29, Environmental Justice and Permitting (CP-29)
It has been determined that the proposed action is not subject to CP-29.
