The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) today announced the planned temporary closure of the parking lot at Black Creek Boating Access Site, on Black Creek Road, off Route 252, Town of Chili, Monroe County. The closure is due to preventative sealcoating maintenance to improve safety and extend the life of the parking area.
The parking lot will be closed beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with an anticipated reopening on Thursday, September 10, 2026. The project rain date is September 15, reopening September 17.
