Access:
Ballston Lake has a free public fishing pier and launch site for small car top boats at the north end of the lake. The parking area is located off of Outlet Road with the launch site across the road. Outlet runs between Lake Road and Route 50.

Fish Species:
Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, brown bullhead, northern pike, bluegill, carp, redfin pickerel, black crappie, longear sunfish, pumpkinseed, rock bass, and walleye.
Fishing:
Ballston Lake has excellent fishing for largemouth bass. Anglers have a greater chance of catching a largemouth when fishing along weed beds, docks, stumps, or down trees.
Ice Fishing:
Permitted.
