Fishing:
Chittning Pond affords anglers ample shoreline access, making it easy to target the abundant panfish population. A bobber and worm will catch most fish in the lake. If you target the largemouth bass or chain pickerel, you may want to try weedless or top water baits since the weedbeds can be quite extensive. Largemouth bass over 17 inches have been reported.
