The 23,100-acre Giant Mountain Wilderness is part of the Adirondack Forest Preserve. The wilderness is predominately mountain country containing two peaks above 4,000 feet elevation - its namesake Giant Mountain and Rocky Peak. Other natural features include Giant Washbowl, Giant's Nubble, Hopkins Mountain, and Roaring Brook Falls. It is adjacent to the High Peaks Wilderness.
