Fishing:
Higley Falls Reservoir, also known as Higley Flow, boasts a number of top predator species for anglers to target. In general predators are found at relatively low densities. Bass, both largemouth and smallmouth, can be caught in the 20" range. Smallmouth should be targeted in the deeper water near the dam whereas largemouth are more evenly distributed around the lake. Walleye are spotty but will normally be more numerous at the upstream end of the impoundment. Northern pike although not trophy quality do attain lengths upwards of 36" which is respectable for a Raquette River impoundment. Panfish are numerous but tend to be on the small side.
