Fishing:
Tiger muskellunge provide a targeted fishery in Hyde Lake. Walleye up to 20 inches are reasonably common. Smallmouth bass up to 14 inches and largemouth up to 16 inches are taken regularly. Black crappie over legal size (10 inches) are available. Around 4,000 walleye pond fingerlings and 400 tiger muskellunge fall fingerlings are stocked annually.
