Kensico Reservoir, located in Valhalla, is the last stop in the NYC waterway before the water goes down to NYC. This 2,145 acre NYC Reservoir receives its water from both the Catskill and Delaware aqueducts.

Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and Panfish.
Fishing:
Kensico Reservoir is stocked with 8,440 brown trout every spring. The clear waters of this reservoir are best known for abundant numbers of trout. Like most of the NYC Reservoirs, best techniques for catching these trout are trolling with spoons or plugs and using sawbellies. Try various depths until you find the depth that proves to be most productive. Kensico also has some lunker bass swimming in it that can provide for some great angling action.
