The Nanticoke Lake Multiple Use Area covers 338 acres and includes the 46-acre man-made Nanticoke Lake impoundment. The dam was constructed by the State for flood control purposes and to create non-motorized recreation access. A tributary of Nanticoke Creek passes through the property.
Nanticoke Lake Multiple Use Area is a great place to see herons, ducks and geese. It is a favorite stopover for migrating loons in spring. Camping is not permitted.
