Access:
Located in Six Mile Waterworks Park on southeast shore off Fuller Road, about 0.2 miles north of I-90, in the Albany's Pine Bush Preserve. Abundant shoreline as well as two fishing platforms. Row boats/canoes/kayaks can be launched from shore, but no motors including gasoline or battery operated motors are allowed. Fishing:
Warmwater Fishing
Abundant bluegill, pumpkinseed, black crappie, and rock bass populations provide great fishing. Largemouth bass are present with reports of 3-5 pounders occasionally being caught.
Coldwater Fishing
The lake is stocked each spring with approximately 2,000 rainbow trout, ranging from 8.5 - 9.5 inches. Later in the season canoes/kayaks provide the chance to catch some holdovers and stocked fish from cooler, deeper parts of the lake.
