Saratoga Lake offers easy access for boats and good fishing opportunities. The majority of the lake's shoreline is privately owned, so launching a boat is the easiest way to enjoy the water. The lake offers a variety of habitats from shallow weedy zones to steep rocky zones, which provide great opportunities for every angler.

Access:
NYS Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation operates a boat launch located off route 9P. There is a fee to launch. The launch provides parking for 40 cars and trailers, overflow parking is available.

Fish Species:
Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, brown bullhead, northern pike, redbreast sunfish, rock bass, walleye, black crappie, bluegill, chain pickerel, and pumpkinseed.
Fishing:
Saratoga Lake produces some decent size smallmouth bass, walleye, and northern pikes. To find the northern pike, anglers should fish the edge of weed beds. For smallmouth bass and walleye, anglers should fish rocky shores. Anglers targeting panfish should use small jigs and live bait.
