The primary purposes of Victory Mills Wildlife Management Area (WMA) are for wildlife management, wildlife habitat management, and wildlife-dependent recreation. Victory Mills WMA contains 47 acres of natural wetlands and a section of Fish Creek.

Directions

From Schuylerville take State Route 32 south approximately 1.3 miles and turn left onto Mennen Road. The parking area is on right about 0.1 mile from State Route 32. It is an unimproved pull-off at the south-eastern corner of the Mennen Road bridge crossing over Fish Creek (43.0828°N, 73.5985°W) - Get Google Map Driving Directions.

How We Manage Victory Mills Wildlife Management Area

Like most of the state's Wildlife Management Areas, Victory Mills WMA is managed by DEC's Division of Fish and Wildlife for wildlife conservation and wildlife-associated recreation (hunting, trapping, wildlife viewing, and photography). Funding to maintain and manage this site is provided by the Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration or "Pittman-Robertson" Act, which is acquired through excise taxes on sporting arms, ammunition, and archery equipment.
