Southeastern New York has a great diversity of fisheries within the Catskills and Hudson Valley area, including the Hudson River and Neversink River and numerous trout streams and warm water lakes and rivers. DEC's Region 3 Fisheries Unit conducts various fisheries surveys to help manage these abundant resources.
