Region 4 (East Central New York) Fisheries Management and Research
The Capital District and Northern Catskills offer a great diversity of fisheries within the Mohawk, Hudson, and Susquehanna Rivers, along with numerous trout streams and warm water lakes and rivers. DEC's Region 4 Fisheries Unit conducts various fisheries surveys to help manage these abundant resources. The documents on this page provide a greater in depth look at how DEC manages the vast fisheries resources within this region.
