Region 8 (West Central New York) Fisheries Management and Research

West Central New York has a great diversity of fisheries within Lake Ontario, part of the Finger Lakes, and numerous trout streams and warm water lakes and rivers. DEC's Region 8 Fisheries Unit conducts various fisheries surveys to help manage these abundant resources.
