Boat Launches in Marine Waters
If you trailer a boat on Long Island and are looking for new areas to launch, DEC has assembled a listing of boat ramps located in Nassau and Suffolk Counties for your reference. The facilities are separated by town.
The guides provide information on ramp location, description, jurisdiction, contact number, adjacent body of water, parking and any additional amenities (e.g. pumpout, washdown, rest rooms, dock). Note that most ramps require a seasonal permit or a day use fee. There may also be vessel size restrictions depending on the facility. Ramps maintained by NYSDEC are free for all residents of New York State. For the most current information regarding any particular ramp please call the contact phone number given in the guide.
