Rapids surround this island located at the confluence of the Mohawk and Hudson Rivers, and great views are the reward for those who take advantage of the paths surrounding this rolling and wooded landscape. This state park provides a home and a migration stop for a variety of birds.
This NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation site has some accessible features, including a picnic pavilion. A full list of DEC's accessible recreation destinations is available on the DEC website.
